KUPWARA: In observance of International Yoga Day, a yoga session was organized today by the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) Kupwara at Mission Vatsalva Office Kupwara with the objective of promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and a healthy lifestyle. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from officers, officials from JJB Kupwara, DCPU Kupwara, Child line Kupwara, and Child Help Desk Handwara. 

The participants performed various yoga asanas and breathing exercises under the guidance of trained instructors, highlighting the importance of yoga in maintaining a healthy body and mind.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest, Principal Magistrate, JB Kupwara, Mudasir Bashir emphasized the significance of Yoga as an invaluable gift of India's ancient tradition that fosters harmony between mind and body and contributes to overall well-being.

Participants were encouraged to incorporate yoga into their daily routine for a healthier and stress-free life. The event concluded with a pledge by all participants to adopt yoga as a way of life and to spread awareness about its numerous health benefits within the community. The programme was conducted successfully and reflected the collective commitment towards promoting health, wellness, and holistic development through yoga.
