SHOPIAN: A review meeting on the progress of indicators under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) and the Jammu & Kashmir Competitiveness Improvement of Agriculture & Allied Sectors Project (JKCIP) was held today at the Meeting Hall, Mini Secretariat, Shopian, under the chairmanship of the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Shopian, Dr. Nasir Ahmad Lone.
The meeting was attended by the District Statistical and Evaluation Officer Shopian, Bilkeesa Zahoor, all District Heads of the Agriculture Production Department, along with concerned Block Level Officers. A comprehensive review of physical and financial progress across various sectors was undertaken during the meeting.
The meeting also discussed key agenda points, including L1, L2, and L3 (eKYC) progress, status of Daksh Kisan, issuance of fertilizer, pesticide, and seed licenses, approval and application pendency under HADP, and other related issues requiring attention.
The ADDC directed all officers to ensure prompt and effective implementation of projects under HADP and JKCIP, emphasizing adherence to timelines and achievement of set targets.
He expressed concern over the slow pace of progress in certain areas and called for immediate corrective measures to address the gaps. The ADDC further instructed departments to strengthen monitoring mechanisms, ensure accurate and timely reporting, and adopt a result oriented approach to improve overall performance.
