SRINAGAR: The Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) Vice President & Chairman Mechanical Irrigation & Flood Controller Employees Federation MI&FCEF, Farooq Ahmad Khan, has expressed profound grief over the passing of Former Chief Engineer of PHE Department Ghulam Rasool Zargar, who breathed his last after a brief illness at Medanta Hospital, Gurugram, New Delhi.He was a resident of Gojwara, Srinagar, and shifted to Hyderpora Ibrahim Colony, House No. 46, Lane 3, the late Ghulam Rasool Zargar was a dedicated officer who also served as a consultant to the Ministry of Water Resources, Government of India.
His contributions to the engineering sector and public service were widely recognized and appreciated.In a condolence message, Farooq Ahmad Khan stated "The passing of Ghulam Rasool Zargar is a great loss to the engineering fraternity and society at large. He was a man of integrity and professionalism who dedicated his life to public service. His contributions will be remembered for years to come.
