RAMGARH: Nations Development Association (NDA), in collaboration with MyBharat-NYK Jammu, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, successfully organized a 2-day Cluster of Block Level Sports Meet at the Community Hall in Ramgarh. The event, which concluded today, witnessed active participation from youth across various blocks of Samba District.
A total of five sporting events were held during the tournament, including Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Badminton, Race, Shot Put, and Skipping Rope. In the Volleyball competition, Ramgarh Volleyball Club emerged as the champions, while Balouri Volleyball Club secured the runners-up position.
The Chief Guest at the closing ceremony was Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA Ramgarh and former Minister for Health and Medical Education, J&K. Amit Choudhary, Executive Officer of the Municipal Committee Ramgarh, presided over the event.
Sushil Singh Charak, Chief Functionary of the Nations Development Association (NDA), expressed gratitude to all participants and delivered the vote of thanks. He also took the opportunity to highlight various youth development programs initiated by NYKS (Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan). As a token of appreciation, all participants were awarded medals during the concluding function.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal commended the efforts of Sushil Singh Charak and acknowledged the vital role played by his team in organizing the event. Sushil Singh Charak, in turn, extended his thanks to the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Federation team, including Rinku Choudhary, Sandeep Singh, Dheeraj Kumar, Nancy Choudhary President Ramgarh and Naveen Sharma President Swankha.
