SRINAGAR: The Department of Handicrafts and Handloom, Kashmir, today bid adieu to its National Awardee employee in the School of Designs, Ghulam Rasool Ahanger, who retired as Assistant Craftsmen after putting in 28 years of exemplary service.

In a felicitation function, Director Handicrafts and Handloom, Kashmir, Mussarat Islam, lauded the efforts of the official, who had gained great expertise in the field of wood carving. “His retirement has left a deep void in the department and his absence shall be severely missed,” he stated. Handicrafts and Handloom Department wished Ghulam Rasool Ahanger a very happy post-retirement life.
