POONCH: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal, convened a meeting today to assess the current status of construction of Panchayat Ghars and Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) works in the district. The meeting was held in the Meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex.
The Deputy Commissioner conducted a detailed block-wise review of all ongoing and completed projects undertaken by the Rural Development Department under BDC/PRI/DDC works, SBM initiatives, the status of Panchayat Ghars and the audit parameters.
The Block Development Officers (BDOs) were asked to actively inspect projects and collaborate with Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs) to guarantee timely project completion. The meeting was attended by ACD Poonch, ACP Poonch, Executive Engineer (XEN) REW, BDOs, and other concerned officers.
