JAMMU: The Central University of Jammu proudly announces the launch of its Google Developer Group (GDG) on Campus initiative, a pioneering program aimed at empowering students and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within the university.
The GDG on Campus program aspires to unite enthusiastic learners, developers, and innovators eager to expand their knowledge in software development, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies. Through this initiative, students gain access to unique opportunities to learn, network, and grow within the Google Developer ecosystem.
Participants in the program benefit from regional support, exclusive training opportunities, and access to a wealth of resources, including technical content developed with Google’s product teams, organizer guides for event planning, and community management tools. The GDG community develop platform enables efficient event planning and engagement tracking, while global connections are facilitated through mailing lists and the Discord network. This initiative empowers students to enhance their technical expertise, participate in regional campaigns, and build impactful communities, preparing them for successful careers in technology.
The program will also host hands-on learning experiences such as workshops, hackathons, and seminars focused on Google’s latest technologies and tools. The success of the GDG on Campus program is driven by its dynamic leadership team. The initiative is guided by Dr. Jasvinder Pal Singh and Dr. Palak Mahajan as mentors, with Saloni serving as the Team Lead. The dedicated Co-Leads include Ansh Sharma, Samarth Prashar, Farida Sabrin, Nikhil, Harsh Singh, and Kumar Sachin. Together, this team is committed to creating a vibrant and collaborative tech community on campus.
