KUPWARA: Chairman District Development Council Kupwara, Irfan Sultan Panditpori today inaugurated Health & Wellness Centre and Tourist Spot Lokipora in Qaziabad block of district Kupwara in presence of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan. Besides, Assistant Commissioner Development Kupwara, BDO Qaziabad; residents of the area were also present on the occasion.
While inaugurating Tourist Spot in Qaziabad, Panditpori reiterated long pending demand of the local people to develop the area as tourist destination. He added that the area has a good potential of tourism and hoped that the administration will explore its full potential for the development and welfare of the people.
Later, the Chairman DDC visited Panditpora village where he inaugurated the newly constructed building of Health & Wellness Centre in presence Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan. Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Kupwara also visited various areas of block Qaziabad & inspected different developmental works including JJM works at Kralgund.
