JAMMU: Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Media Incharge, J&K BJP, strongly condemned Pakistan's continued attempts to mislead the international community on Jammu & Kashmir and said that India's firm response at the United Nations has once again exposed Pakistan's false narrative and malicious propaganda.
Dr. Pardeep said that while Pakistan remains trapped in its outdated agenda of spreading misinformation, Jammu & Kashmir is witnessing an unprecedented era of peace, prosperity, development, and democratic empowerment under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Dr. Pardeep said that the historic decision to abrogate Articles 370 and 35A has transformed Jammu & Kashmir from a region held back by separatism, corruption, and political exploitation into a land of opportunity, investment, and inclusive growth. The developments witnessed over the last six years stand as the strongest reply to Pakistan's baseless allegations.
Dr. Pardeep highlighted that Jammu & Kashmir has recorded significant growth in investments, tourism, infrastructure, and public welfare. Mega projects such as the Zojila Tunnel, railway expansion, national highways, and modern urban development initiatives are reshaping the region's future and integrating it more closely with the national mainstream. He said that record tourist arrivals, increasing investor confidence, and expanding employment opportunities reflect the growing trust of people in the policies of the Modi Government.
Dr. Pardeep further stated that democratic institutions at the grassroots level have been strengthened through Panchayati Raj and local self-governance. The improved security environment has enabled normalcy, economic activity, and social progress.
Dr. Pardeep said that Pakistan, which continues to face internal instability, economic distress, and a poor record on human rights, has no moral authority to comment on Jammu & Kashmir. The international community is increasingly recognizing the truth that Jammu & Kashmir is an integral part of India and that its people are benefiting from unprecedented developmental initiatives and transparent governance.
