REASI: The District Employment and Counselling Centre, Reasi, today hosted a one-day Job Fair, bringing together job seekers and employers under one roof. The event aimed to provide employment opportunities to the youth of the district while facilitating the hiring needs of participating companies. More than 8 employers setup the stalls at the venue. Over 150 job seekers from across the district attended the fair, to explore potential career paths as per their qualification.
The job fair served as bridge between job seekers and recruiters. Assistant Director Annie Vaid said the department is committed to provide a platform that benefits both employers and aspiring candidates. Several candidates were shortlisted on the spot and others were advised to follow up with employers for further rounds of interviews.
