SAMBA: A seminar on the Union Budget 2025-26 was organized at the BJP office in Sapwal. The event was presided over by District President Asha Rani, while Incharge Jatinder Sharma conducted the proceedings. District President Asha Rani highlighted the key features of the budget, emphasizing the benefits proposed for the poor and middle class. She also discussed the government's vision of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047.
The chief spokesperson of the event, Arun Gupta, stated that the budget ensures holistic development and strengthens the concept of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas. He remarked that the budget plays a crucial role in empowering every citizen and praised it as inclusive and welfare-oriented.
Arun Gupta further elaborated that the budget aims to empower all sections of society. Under the new tax regime, annual incomes up to âč12 lakh will be exempt from income tax, providing direct relief to the middle class. He criticized the Congress party, stating that despite ruling the country for over 50-55 years and promising to eradicate hunger and poverty, it failed to deliver. In contrast, the Modi government has consistently worked towards eliminating hunger and poverty.
Former MLA Chander Prakash Ganga remarked that this budget lays the foundation for a brighter future for women, farmers, the poor, and the youth. Program Incharge Jatinder Sharma asserted that this budget would prove to be a crucial link in Prime Minister Narendra Modiâs Mission 2047 and fulfill the aspirations of every section of society. He added that it would provide a new boost to the nationâs economy. Jatinder Sharma also extended his gratitude to all BJP office bearers, leaders, and workers present at the event.
Several other BJP workers and office bearers also shared their views on the budget, praising it as a milestone for the countryâs development and public welfare. The event saw the presence of BJP OBC Morcha National Secretary Rashpal Verma, DDC Chairman Keshav Sharma, DDC Vice Chairman Balwan Singh, Organization Minister Inderjit Sharma, Co-Incharge Vikrant Gupta, and many other BJP workers and officials.
