Dr. Farooq, Omar Abdullah condole the demise of Rashida Begum

• Grief shared by Sagar,  Surinder, Nasir, Sadhotra Rattan Lal Gupta and others; prayers for the departed soul

JAMMU: The President of the National Conference, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, and Vice President, as well as the Honorable Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, have expressed deep sorrow over the passing away after a brief illness of  Rashida Begum former Corporator and Vice President District Jammu Urban. Dr Farooq Abdullah visited the residence of late Rashida Begum to condole the death with her family and relatives along with Rattan Lal Gupta Provincial President Jammu.

In their condolence message, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah, Haji Ali Mohd Sagar General Secretary and Hon’ble MLA and Nasir Aslam Wani Hon’ble Advisor to Hon’ble Chief Minister prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and  strength to the grieving family during this difficult time. They also paid tribute to Rashida Begum  unwavering commitment to both the party and the public which she did during her corporator tenure.

Surinder Choudhary Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister along with Party Colleagues Ajay Kumar Sadhotra former minister and Additional General Secretary, Sheikh Bashir Ahmad Provincial Secretary Jammu, Abdul Gani Malik former minister and Zonal President Udhampur Reasi Zone, Ayub Malik Provincial Secretary Jammu,  Abdul Gani Teli Chairman OBC Cell, Chander Mohan Sharma District President Jammu Urban, Subash Chander Bhagat District President Jammu Rural “A”, Naresh Bittu District President Jammu Rural “B”, Rahul Attri, S. Gurnam Singh participated in the Jenaza at Gujjar Nagar Jammu.

Among other Bimla Luthra former MLA and State Vice President Women Wing, Vijay Laxmi Datta Senior leader, Abid Magrey District President Ramban also visited the residence of late Rashida Begum to condole the death with her family.
