AKHNOOR: In a significant step towards environmental conservation, Synergetic Green Warriors Foundation (SGWF) organized a cleanliness drive at Jia Pota Ghat, Akhnoor, in collaboration with Shri Mandir Ghat Committee Akhnoor and Sant Nirankari Mission Akhnoor. The drive was conducted under Mission Amrit: Swachh Jal, Swachh Man, inspired by Dr. Sonia Verma, Director/CEO of SGWF.
The cleanliness drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from volunteers across Akhnoor, including MLA Akhnoor Mohan Lal Bhagat, local residents, and members of partner organizations. Volunteers actively engaged in removing waste, plastic, and other pollutants from the ghat, ensuring a cleaner and healthier environment for the community.
