SAMBA: Department of Commerce, Government Degree College (GDC) Vijaypur, successfully conducted a two-day workshop on the stock market, while its Red Ribbon Club, in collaboration with J&K AIDS Control Society took out a Rally to raise HIV/AIDS awareness. The Workshop aimed at educating students on investment strategies, trading principles, and financial literacy. The event was organized in collaboration with stock market expert Prof. Arjun Gupta, GDC Ramban to provide students an insight into the world of stock trading.
The expert conducted interactive sessions on stock market fundamentals, risk management, technical and fundamental analysis, and the role of the stock market in economic growth. Meanwhile, the rally commenced from the college premises and proceeded with participants holding colorful banners and placards bearing messages of hope, prevention, and solidarity. Nearly 80 Volunteers of the college actively participated in the Rally. The enthusiastic participants chanted slogans, promoting awareness and combating stigma associated with HIV-AIDS.
