JAMMU: A Zonal-Level Environment-Building Program on Inclusive Education, with special focus on Children with Special Needs (CWSN) was held today in the premises of the office Zonal Education Officer Marh. The programme was inaugurated by the local Member Legislative Assembly Surinder Kumar Bhagat, in presence of Principal Government Degree College and Zonal Education Officer Kasturi Lal.
The parents of Special Children, PRIs and local residents attended the programme. The programme aimed at raising mass awareness among the community regarding initiatives of the Education department and SAMAGRA Shiksha in particular for the benefit and uplift of specially-abled children. The speakers highlighted the schemes and benefits available for the betterment of the special children and promotion of Inclusive Education.
