RAMBAN: Sub-Division Administration Gool Imtiaz Ahmed chaired a public grievance redressal camp at Panchayat Ind. The camp witnessed participation from a large number of locals, including men, women, senior citizens, youth and ex-PRI members from Panchayat Ind and adjoining areas.
Locals raised issues related to road connectivity, drinking water supply, power supply, healthcare, education, ration under NFSA, MGNREGA works, old age pension, irrigation, street lighting, maintenance of link roads and other public welfare schemes.
The SDM directed officers concerned to resolve genuine grievances and submit action-taken reports within stipulated timeframes, with issues resolvable at the sub-division level to be addressed immediately and matters requiring higher approval to be forwarded with proper recommendations.
Officers provided awareness on government welfare schemes including Ayushman Bharat, PM Kisan, KCC and social security pensions, urging eligible beneficiaries to avail themselves of scheme benefits.
Among those present were Tehsildar Gool Harjeet Singh, Naib Tehsildar Ind Shabir Ahmed and sub-divisional level officers and departments concerned.
