PULWAMA: Continuing its sustained crackdown on illegal mining, J&K Police have seized one JCB & a Dumper involved in the unauthorized extraction and transportation of minerals from Wasoora area of Pulwama.
During the operation, a JCB machine bearing Chassis No. HAR3DXSSC02603614 and a dumper bearing Registration No. JK19A-6998 were found engaged in illegal extraction of sand. The JCB machine and dumper were seized on the spot.
Subsequently, Case FIR No. 79/2026 under relevant provisions of law has been registered at PS Litter and investigation has been initiated to ascertain all facts and circumstances connected with the case.
Police reiterates its commitment to preventing illegal mining activities and ensuring the protection of public property and natural resources. Citizens are encouraged to report such violations to the nearest police establishment.
