The Survival Fight of JK Monitor : For 16 years, JK Monitor has chronicled Jammu and Kashmir with integrity. Since 2010, I have steered its newsroom alongside our visionary Founding Chairman, Dr. Priya Ranjan (IIT Kharagpur alumnus, University of Maryland Ph.D.), who treated me like a brother and mentor. His tragic demise in October 2026 left a severe financial and operational vacuum. Without urgent support, our 24/7 news portal risks permanently shutting down after November 2026, remaining only as a static digital archive. We appeal to well-wishers to extend a helping hand to keep our active newsroom alive. Support Us: WhatsApp: +91-9906103001 | Email: journalistajmerwani@gmail.com

URI, BARAMULLA: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a training camp under the ongoing Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan–2026 in Uri Constituency of District Baramulla.

Hussain Dar, All Cells Co-Incharge Bilal Parry, along with other senior leaders, booth-level workers and activists actively participated in the workshop.

He stated that such training programmes are designed to equip party workers with ideological clarity, organizational discipline, and effective communication skills, enabling them to serve society more efficiently.

Koul further stressed that the BJP’s strength lies in its committed and well-trained cadre. He asked the party cadre to work with the spirit of serving the last person in society. Highlighting the importance of coordination and continuous learning, he called upon the cadre to actively engage with the masses and effectively communicate the policies and achievements of the government.

Urging participants to make the most of these initiatives, he called upon the cadre to fully absorb the learnings from these camps and translate them into effective public outreach and organizational strengthening.
