The Survival Fight of JK Monitor : For 16 years, JK Monitor has chronicled Jammu and Kashmir with integrity. Since 2010, I have steered its newsroom alongside our visionary Founding Chairman, Dr. Priya Ranjan (IIT Kharagpur alumnus, University of Maryland Ph.D.), who treated me like a brother and mentor. His tragic demise in October 2026 left a severe financial and operational vacuum. Without urgent support, our 24/7 news portal risks permanently shutting down after November 2026, remaining only as a static digital archive. We appeal to well-wishers to extend a helping hand to keep our active newsroom alive. Support Us: WhatsApp: +91-9906103001 | Email: journalistajmerwani@gmail.com

JAMMU: Strengthening its organizational framework ahead of key regional milestones, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today announced the appointment of Dikshant Sharma as the State Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Jammu & Kashmir.

A Proven Architect of the Youth Wing

A native of Udhampur, Dikshant Sharma has long been a cornerstone of the BJYM’s regional operations. His appointment is viewed as a strategic promotion of meritocracy within the party, rewarding years of high-impact service.

Sharma’s portfolio is marked by diverse leadership roles:

Organizational Strategy: Served with distinction as State Secretary and State Office Secretary of the BJYM.

Grassroots Mobilization: Dedicated over three years as a Vistarak, working at the foundational level to expand the party's ideological reach in remote sectors.

Anchored in Discipline and Ideology

Beyond his political acumen, Dikshant is recognized for his deep-rooted connection to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). As a Pratham Varsh Shikshit Swayamsevak, his leadership style is defined by the discipline and nationalistic fervor central to his training.

This background ensures that his new role as Vice President will be characterized by a principled approach to youth empowerment and organizational integrity.

Strengthening the Pulse of J&K’s Youth

The induction of Sharma into the senior state leadership signifies the BJYM’s focus on leveraging experienced "karyakartas" who understand the unique socio-political landscape of Jammu & Kashmir. His primary mandate will include:

Expanding youth outreach programs across the Jammu and Kashmir divisions.

Mentoring the next generation of grassroots activists.

Synthesizing administrative efficiency with political activism.

"Dikshant Sharma represents the core values of our organization—dedication, discipline, and a 'nation-first' mindset. His transition from a Vistarak to State Vice President is a testament to his unwavering commitment to the people of J&K."
