KISHTWAR: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rajesh Kumar Shavan today inspected the proposed private building for temporary accommodation of KV School at Dedpeth. The DC took stock of the ongoing work on the private building, ensuring that all necessary requirements were met for running the school. The inspection was part of the preparations for starting classes for the upcoming April session.

The DC issued necessary directions to proceed at a faster pace to ensure the classes start well in time. The DC also visited Mughal Maidan, a far off area of the district, where he interacted with local residents. A delegation from Dedpeth approached the DC to project the demand for improving drainage in the area. The DC assured the delegation that their concerns would be addressed promptly.

Furthermore, a delegation from Panchayat Rahalthal met with the DC to discuss issues related to MGNREGA attendance. The DC emphasized that payments under MGNREGA would be made only to those who are actively working, underlining the importance of accountability and transparency in the implementation of the scheme.

The DC also inspected the under construction Bridge near the hatchery fish project in Mughal Maidan, being developed under the  Capex plan by RDD. SDM Chatroo Nayeem Ur Rehman, ACD Phulail Singh, Tehsildar Mughal Maidan Parvez Ahmed and other senior officers were present during the visit.
