JAMMU: Deputy Commissioner, Sachin Kumar Vaishya, today chaired a meeting to review the status of developmental works undertaken by the Public Works Department under the District CAPEX budget. During the meeting, the DC took a detailed review of physical and financial progress on the ongoing projects across the district. Stressing the importance of adhering to timelines, he directed the executing agencies to ensure the completion of all works within the stipulated time frame. He further emphasised maintaining the standards of quality in the execution of works.

The DC also reviewed the fund utilisation status and instructed the concerned officers to ensure that funds are optimally utilised while maintaining transparency and accountability. Those present in the meeting included Additional District Development Commissioner Sher Singh, Chief Planning Officer Uttam Kumar, besides PWD Executive Engineers, Sub-Divisional Magistrates and other concerned officers.
