JAMMU: Pawan Sharma, a senior BJP leader Jammu and Kashmir, recently expressed concern about a new threat to the region's future generations during an interaction with youth in Jammu and Kashmir. He likened it to a more destructive form of terrorism, highlighting the growing menace of drug addiction. He stated that drug addiction is a growing concern spreading its influence across our state, devastating families, ruining lives, and pushing our youth towards a bleak future. It is a threat that demands our attention.

Sharma emphasized that as a society, it is our collective responsibility to safeguard our youth from the scourge of drug addiction. This necessitates raising awareness about the risks associated with substance abuse, providing support and counseling to individuals struggling with addiction, and taking decisive action against those involved in drug trafficking within our state.

Pawan Sharma has urged the government to take decisive action against those involved in drug trafficking to protect the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. This call to action is timely, considering the growing concern about drug abuse and illicit trafficking in the region. He stated that the BJP is dedicated to combating this issue and safeguarding our youth, emphasizing collaboration with government, civil society, and stakeholders to develop a comprehensive strategy against drug addiction.

Sharma appealed to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to beware of the dangers of drug addiction. You are the future of our state, and we cannot afford to lose you to this menace. Let us work together to create a brighter future for ourselves and for our state. Let us join hands to fight this new terrorism and protect our future generations.
