JAMMU: J&K BJP spokesperson Dr Abhijeet Jasrotia today strongly criticized Mehbooba Mufti and Aga Ruhullah, stating that those whose political influence “begins in Karnah and ends in Bijbehara” should not attempt to lecture the nation on matters of foreign policy. Dr Abhijeet Jasrotia, accompanied by Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, State Media Incharge, J&K BJP was talking to the media persons, at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

Dr Jasrotia asserted that India’s foreign policy remains consistent, principled, and guided by humanitarian values for all nations alike. He highlighted that India has repeatedly demonstrated global responsibility, from being among the first to send humanitarian aid and medical supplies to Palestine, to extending prompt assistance to Turkey during the devastating earthquake crisis.

He further pointed out India’s developmental cooperation abroad, including infrastructure projects such as port development in Iran, and sustained support to Afghanistan and other countries in times of need. “Wherever there is a humanitarian crisis, India stands ready to help,” he said.

Reaffirming India’s firm stance against terrorism, Dr Jasrotia said that the loss of innocent lives, whether in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks or the October 7 terror attacks reflects the same brutal face of terrorism, and India remains unwavering in its commitment to combat it globally.

He also underscored Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s long-standing position against terrorism, recalling his defiant stand in Lal Chowk even before becoming Prime Minister. His resolve has never changed, terrorists and their supporters will not be spared, he said.

Dr Jasrotia emphasized that India’s global outlook is rooted in the civilizational ideal of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, viewing the world as one family. He added that India’s humanitarian approach extends equally to all nations, including Israel, Palestine, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan and others, reflecting what he described as “true statesmanship.”

Dr. Pardeep Mahotra concluded by stating that the entire country stands united behind this principled and balanced foreign policy vision. He added that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has adopted a zero-tolerance counter-terror doctrine aligned with global FATF compliance standards and a calibrated multi-alignment strategy rooted in strategic autonomy, not political opportunism. He asserted that the Modi government’s policy architecture is data-driven, security-centric, and backed by decisive diplomatic and kinetic responses, something “dynastic politicians struggling for relevance can neither comprehend nor counter.”
