RAJOURI: An inaugural Panchayat-level Awareness Campaign, Udyami Jagriti, under Mission YUVA, and a Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” camp were successfully organized at Panchayat Dassal, today. The event was attended by ADDC Dr Raj Kumar Thapa, who emphasized the importance of youth participation in entrepreneurial activities and their role as job providers instead of job seekers.

Addressing the gathering, the ADDC advised the young individuals to take advantage of the Mission YUVA scheme to establish nano, micro, small and medium enterprises. He also encouraged honesty and dedication in enterprise management and urged the participants to explore the opportunities offered under Agriculture and Horticulture schemes to enhance livelihoods.

Joint Director, Ashwani Kumar, provided a detailed briefing on the core objectives of Mission YUVA, which aims to create 1,37,000 new enterprises and generate 4,25,000 jobs. He elaborated on the support available for new, existing, and nano enterprises, including financial aid, training, and technical assistance.

The campaign also sought to engage local communities, particularly youth and women, in entrepreneurial and skill development activities. The participants were made aware of various central and state schemes that could support their aspirations.

As part of Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore, grievances from the general public were addressed, showcasing the administration's commitment to grassroots development. The event witnessed the participation of several district and sectoral officers, including CAO Sohan Singh, ALC Pradyot Gupta, AD Fisheries, DSHO, representative from JKEDI and others, who provided insights and guidance on various schemes and initiatives.
