JAMMU: Senior BJP leader and Prabhari of District Doda, Pawan Sharma, has wholeheartedly welcomed the historic decision of Narendra Modi govt, to declare February 12 as a government holiday in Delhi on the occasion of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji’s Jayanti for the first time. He stated that this decision is not only a mark of reverence for Guru Ravidas Ji but also a tribute to his invaluable contributions to social reform and public sentiments. This is a significant step towards positive change, paving the way for inclusive and prosperous future.

He emphasized that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to the welfare of all sections of society and its dedication to driving meaningful transformation. Pawan Sharma praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's deep respect and devotion towards all communities and their spiritual leaders, calling it an inspirational example for the entire nation. He highlighted how the Prime Minister’s inclusive vision has played a crucial role in fostering unity among diverse communities.

Prime Minister Modi reinforced this vision by designating December 26 as 'Veer Bal Diwas', a day to honor the supreme sacrifices of Guru Gobind Singh Ji's sons and the Sikh community's contributions to the nation. In contrast to previous governments that viewed these communities solely as a vote bank, Modi Ji has accorded them the respect and recognition they rightfully deserve.

PM Modi’s initiatives like ‘Vocal for Local’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ have motivated people to support indigenous products and contribute to the nation’s economic strength. These initiatives have also garnered support from spiritual leaders and saints, who continue to inspire people across the country.

Pawan Sharma emphasized that PM Modi’s leadership has been transformative, ensuring that the sacrifices and contributions of spiritual and religious leaders are not just remembered but honored at the highest level. He urged people to recognize and support these progressive steps, which strengthen the fabric of the nation and preserve India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage.
