SRINAGAR: In a significant initiative taken by Police in Anantnag to reach out to the women in distress and to ensure the safety & well-being of women in the district, established a 24x7 Women Help Desk mobile numbers at seven Police Stations of the district.

The Help Desk, manned by dedicated female Police Officers, aims to provide a platform for all women (married or unmarried) to report any problems related to their daily lives. The Help Desk will address issues such as domestic violence, harassment and other gender-related concerns.
