RAMBAN: The Education Department, with the support of the District Administration Ramban and under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, today organized an exposure visit for Children with Special Needs (CWSN) under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan.
Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Roshan Lal, in the presence of Chief Education Officer, S. Bikram Singh, flagged off the visit to Industrial Training Institute Ramban. The initiative aimed to provide the children with firsthand exposure to vocational training and skill development opportunities available at ITI.
Interacting with the children, ADDC Roshan Lal emphasized the importance of inclusive education and skill-building for their empowerment. The children and their parents expressed gratitude to the District Administration and the Education Department for organizing the visit. They appreciated the efforts being made to integrate CWSN into mainstream educational and vocational programs, fostering their independence and self-reliance.
