RAMBAN: Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Gool Imtiaz today visited Mahakund Jaber area of the Sub-Division to assess the damages caused by the recent heavy rainfall. He was accompanied by BDO Sadam Hussain and other concerned officials.
During the visit, the SDM inspected the extent of damage to infrastructure, link roads, houses and agricultural land. He also interacted with local residents, patiently listening to their grievances and assuring them of all possible support from the administration for the affected families.
The SDM issued on-the-spot directions to the concerned departments to expedite restoration of water and power supply in the affected areas and to prepare relief cases for the deserving families. He further instructed the officials to ensure immediate restoration of damaged roads to facilitate smooth connectivity and accessibility for the local population.
