JAMMU: The Central University of Jammu welcomed 78 enthusiastic students from Class 6th of The Shri Ram Universal School, Jakh, Samba. Accompanied by faculty members Mrs. Vaishali Sharma and Mrs. Varsha Sharma, the students engaged in an insightful visit to the Satish Dhawan Centre for Space Sciences.
Under the mentorship of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain, the visit aimed to enhance the students’ knowledge and skills in the field of space science. The young learners explored the Central Instrumentation Facility, gaining practical exposure to cutting-edge space science research and high-end material characterization.
The event was meticulously coordinated by Ms. Mehak Mahajan, Senior Technical Assistant (Lab.) at the Central Instrumentation Facility, along with Ms. Bandhna Verma and Ms. Ayesha Bandhari. They worked under the guidance of Prof. Vinay Kumar, Convener of the Satish Dhawan Centre for Space Sciences, ensuring a productive and engaging experience for all participants.
