BHADERWAH: A meeting to finalise arrangements for the 12th International Day of Yoga was convened today in the office chamber of Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah Sunil Kumar Bhutyal.
The ADC emphasised coordination among all departments for an inclusive and impactful observance. The main celebration will be held at Gatha Park, Bhaderwah, with concurrent yoga sessions at government degree colleges, identified tourist destinations, schools and government departments. The ADC urged all departments to mobilise maximum public participation, particularly from school children, college students, youth clubs, Self Help Groups and civil society members.
Discussions were held on logistics including sanitation, security, medical facilities, electricity, drinking water, traffic, parking, sound system setup and media coverage.
Among those present were Principal Degree College Bhaderwah, CEO Bhaderwah Development Authority, Tehsildar Bhaderwah/Bhalla, SDPO Bhaderwah, BDO Bhaderwah/Bhalla, BMO Bhaderwah, AE PDD, CDPO Bhaderwah and ZEO Bhaderwah. Dr Iftikhar Ahmed, AYUSH Department Bhaderwah, was designated as Nodal Officer.
