- Nobody mentions Pakistan along with India on international platform, India established its own identity, Pakistan remained where it was
JAMMU: JP Nadda, BJP National President, on Sunday said that National Conference and Congress are working on the agenda of Pakistan and want to push J&K towards unrest and revive terrorism here and added that the BJP government is must to peace in J&K. He attacked Congress, National Conference, and PDP for acting as Pakistan's agents and wanting to have 90s like situation when thousands died due to militancy.
JP Nadda was addressing public rallies at Barnai, Greater Kailash and Intellectuals meeting at Jammu. “NC-Cong are misleading the people promising restoration of Article 370,” Nadda said, adding, “These parties are following the agenda of Pakistan as has been stated by the Pakistan Defence Minister”.
He said that Article 370 is history now and no one can bring it back. “Today, there is one constitution, one flag and one PM,” he said, while adding, “Shayama Parasad Mukherjee’s dream has been fulfilled by PM Modi”. He said that BJP’s victory in J&K is essential for the interests of the country and J&K as well and added that there is a strong wave in favor of BJP and it will form its next government here.
Under PM Modi’s leadership, J&K will be the most developed State of the country an India will soon become world’s 3rd largest economy. He said that today, India’s name is held in such high esteem globally that it no longer gets mentioned alongside Pakistan, which has remained stagnant. Nadda said that PM Modi has crushed terrorism and any terrorist entering Jammu and Kashmir today doesn’t survive for more than a week.
He urged the people of Jammu to vote for BJP candidates saying, “BJP is guarantee to peace and development”. He said that the first movement to oppose Article 370 began under Syama Prasad Mukherjee's leadership. The Jana Sangh was formed in 1952, and by 1953, the movement against Article 370 had started. In June 1953, Mukherjee was arrested in Lakhanpur and martyred in a Srinagar jail, he said.
Nadda further said that under Prime Minister Modi's leadership, Indian politics has adopted the principle of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas" (inclusive development), establishing accountability and transparency in governance. He said that rather than distributing money, the Modi government empowered people by supporting the weakest sections of society with investments worth Rs 1.25 crore.
Later in the evening, Nadda took out a road show in Jammu city, starting from Parade Ground and passing through Moti Bazaar, Old Mandi, and Raghunath Temple.
