POONCH: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Pankaj Magotra today conducted an extensive tour of Seri Khawaja, Hari Buddha Upper and Hari Buddha Lower Panchayats to assess the damages induced by recent rains and floods. During the tour, the ADDC inspected the PWD (R&B) road at Kattiwala Seri Khawaja, reviewed damages to school buildings and also visited various houses affected by landslides.

He took stock of the condition of flood-affected roads and interacted with local residents to understand their pressing issues, assuring that their genuine concerns would be addressed in a timely manner. The visit to Seri Khawaja village proper, however, could not be undertaken due to constraints.

The ADDC emphasized that the district administration is committed to restoration of damaged infrastructure and providing necessary relief to the affected families. He was accompanied by BDO Lassana, District Social and Education Officer (DSEO), Junior Engineer PWD (R&B), Naib Tehsildar and field staff of the Rural Development Department.
