SRINAGAR: The Cultural Unit Srinagar, Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), organized a short play at Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHHS), Sonwar, Srinagar today,  under the ongoing Nasha Mukht J&K Abhiyan.  The event aimed to spread awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to promote the message of a healthy and drug-free society through creative expression.

The Head of the Institution appreciated the initiative and lauded the efforts of the Cultural Unit Srinagar for conducting such awareness programmes in educational institutions. The Cultural Officer Kashmir addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in combating the drug menace.  The programme concluded with a pledge ceremony, wherein students and staff vowed to contribute towards the vision of a Nasha Mukht Jammu and Kashmir.
