KULGAM: To review the functioning of Revenue Department, and ensure efficient and prompt public service delivery in the district, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan on Monday chaired a meeting of the Revenue Department in the Meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex, here.
The meeting reviewed in detail the tehsil wise progress on status of online services provided to citizens on JanSugam and Revenue Plus e.g Issuance of certificates, Fards, Demarcations etc, digitization and scanning of revenue records, removal of encroachment from state/ kacharia land, Change of Land Use cases, grievances regarding Migrant properties, progress of revenue court cases in different offices, progress of different services under PSGA, progress of Mussavies and Geo-refrencing in each tehsil, disposal of SRO cases, progress on land allotment to different departments for govt projects.
Besides, the meeting also discussed Land Acquisition for PWD, PMGSY, Jal Shakti and other depts, progress on Samadhan registrations disposal, disposal of grievances on Revenue Plus portal, Issuance of Land Pass books to the farmers and land identification for Compensatory Afforestation under CAMPA.
DC urged the revenue officers to ease out the day to day difficulties of common masses by visiting for on spot inspections. He said that the progress of each Tehsildar is being monitored strictly on the basis of above parameters. The meeting was attended by ADC, Viqar Ahmed Giri; ACR, Reyaz Ahmad Shah; all Tehsildars of the district, besides other officials of revenue department.
