KUPWARA: The District Election Officer (DEO) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudhan today visited Handwara sub division and conducted a comprehensive inspection of election Strong room, Election Control Room and Facilitation Centre of RO office at Handwara. The inspection was aimed to evaluate the preparedness for upcoming assembly election-2024.

The DEO meticulously inspected the Strong Room at ITI Handwara, Control Room and Facilitation centre, besides she also reviewed the facilities and arrangements for smooth conduct of elections. On the occasion, DEO directed the officers of concerned departments to put in place all efforts for smooth conduct of assembly elections. She was accompanied by ADC (RO ), AC-05 Handwara, Aziz Ahmad Rather; ARO, AC-05-Handwara, Executive Engineer R&B Division Handwara.
