PULWAMA: In a significant step toward ensuring the smooth conduct of the upcoming General Elections, General Observer Vadarevu Vinay Chand convened a meeting with zonal and sectoral officers at JKEDI Pampore. The meeting was also attended by Nazir Ahmad Mir, Returning Officer for 32-Pampore and Asif Malik, Assistant Returning Officer for 32-Pampore.
The focus of the meeting was to review election preparedness and strengthen coordination among various teams responsible for managing the polling process. Vinay Chand emphasized the importance of strict adherence to established protocols and urged officials to maintain the highest standards of diligence to ensure free, fair and transparent elections.
The discussion also aimed at addressing potential challenges while streamlining operations to ensure the efficient management of the electoral process across the region. The General Observer called for concerted efforts from all officials to guarantee the smooth functioning of polling activities on Election Day.
