BANDIPORA: As part of the ongoing National Road Safety Month, the Motor Vehicles Department, Bandipora, on Saturday organized a signature campaign at the Trial Ground, Bandipora, aimed at raising awareness about road safety and encouraging the public to adopt responsible road practices. The event witnessed active participation from local residents, and transporters who pledged their commitment to ensuring safer roads.
The signature campaign encouraged participants to sign a banner in support of road safety initiatives and to make a commitment to follow traffic rules to help reduce accidents on the roads. Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Bandipora, Anis Ahmed, emphasized the significance of such awareness campaigns in promoting road safety. He urged the public, especially young drivers, to adhere to traffic rules and practice caution while driving.
He highlighted that the active participation of the public in such initiatives plays a crucial role in reducing road accidents and ensuring public safety on the roads. He also emphasized the importance of collective efforts to promote road safety and the role each individual plays in ensuring the safety of all road users.
