He also raised questions about the silence of BJP MLAs on this issue. He said that all the MLAs are silent on this important issue and they have not spoken on this issue even in the assembly. He said that the department is cutting the connections of those who have pending electricity bills, due to which people are facing a lot of problems. He said that if the department does not stop cutting people's connections and does not waive off the old bills, then there will be a strong protest against it in the coming days. He said that smart meters were also installed during the tenure of the BJP government and high electricity bills also started coming to people during the tenure of the BJP government.
