SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Students Association on Friday expressed its heartfelt condolences on the untimely demise of veteran journalist, author, columnist, and thought leader Humra Quraishi, who passed away on Thursday at the age of 70. The Association stated that her passing is an irreparable loss to the fields of journalism and literature, where her voice resonated with truth, compassion, and unwavering commitment to justice.
In its condolence statement, the National Convenor of the Association, Nasir Khuehami, said that Humra Quraishi was a fearless journalist and a prolific author whose writings often gave a voice to the marginalized and shed light on some of the most pressing issues of our times.
