On this occasion, Pawan Sharma said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a slogan and the public made it an appeal. He said that, in coming days Jammu will become a green city along with a clean city, by people's participation. Pawan Sharma appealed the people of J&K particularly youth to come forward and join the campaign "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" to give a good environment to the coming generation.
Pawan Sharma said that keeping in view the global environmental challenges, every individual should voluntarily plant more and more trees, in their respective localities and also inspire others to join the campaign.
Pawan Sharma disclosed that management committee of YVS Skill Development Centre, Jammu has decided to plant more than 10 thousand saplings in J&K. Which is a welcoming step towards green & clean atmosphere in J&K.
