JAMMU: The Central University of Jammu has invited applications for admission to various Under-Graduate (UG), Integrated and Post-Graduate (PG) programmes for the Academic Session 2026-27 through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-(UG) and CUET-(PG)) 2026 conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Dr.Uday Pratap Singh, Professor, Department of Mathematics and Associate Dean Academics, informed that candidates desirous of seeking admission to UG/Integrated programmes are required to appear in CUET-UG 2026 examination scheduled to be held in May 2026, whereas admissions to PG programmes shall be made through CUET-PG 2026 on the basis of merit obtained in the entrance examination.

The University offers admissions in Post-Graduate programmes including M.Sc. in Botany, Biotechnology,  Chemistry, Environmental Sciences,  Mathematics, Physics and zoology ; M.A. programmes in Comparative Religion & Civilizations, English, Hindi, Mass Communication & New Media, National Security Studies, Public Policy & Public Administration and Social Work; M.Tech. programmes in Computer Science & Technology and Electronics & Communication Engineering; MBA, MBA (Marketing Management), MBA (Tourism & Travel Management) and Master of Education (M.Ed.).

Highlighting about the university Prof. Singh stated that Central University of Jammu has highly qualified and dedicated faculties and staff members and also he stated about the achievements of the University, that the Central University of Jammu has secured prestigious rankings including Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings in the 401-600 band globally and Nature Index Ranking at 22nd position. The University is also recognized for its strong research and innovation ecosystem and for having ISRO and DRDO Centres for Research.

The University provides state-of-the-art infrastructure, well equipped library, laboratories, classrooms, digital facilities, sports and recreational infrastructure, highly competitive training and placement support, and a green campus spread over more than 600 acres in the foothills of Trikuta Hills.

The tentative schedule for PG admissions indicates that online applications will commence in May 2026 and the last date for submission of applications will be in June 2026. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the University website for eligibility criteria, programme details, paper codes and admission-related updates.
