JAMMU: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent five-nation diplomatic tour marks a decisive step towards securing India’s long-term economic strength, technological advancement, energy security, and strategic global influence, stated Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Media Incharge, J&K BJP.
Dr. Pardeep Mahotra said that in today’s rapidly changing world order, global leadership is no longer determined only by military power or geography, but by control over technology, investments, innovation, energy partnerships, and strategic cooperation. Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is positioning itself at the center of this transformation with confidence and clarity.
Dr. Pardeep said that during the visits to the UAE, Sweden, the Netherlands, Norway, and Italy, India entered into 57 important agreements and understandings covering sectors such as semiconductors, green energy, infrastructure, telecom resilience, defense cooperation, clean energy, investments, and energy security.
Dr. Pardeep Mahotra said that these partnerships are not symbolic diplomatic engagements, but concrete steps aimed at strengthening India’s economy, boosting employment opportunities, accelerating industrial growth, and securing the nation’s future interests.
Dr. Pardeep elaborated that the UAE’s commitment of nearly $5 billion in infrastructure investments and strategic oil reserve cooperation will strengthen India’s energy security and economic resilience. Sweden’s collaboration in 6G technology, telecom resilience, and quantum innovation reflects India’s growing technological leadership and future-readiness.
Dr. Pardeep further said that the semiconductor partnership involving ASML and Tata Group in the Netherlands represents a transformational move towards making India a major semiconductor manufacturing hub, while Norway’s proposed $100 billion investment framework and Green Strategic Partnership will strengthen India’s sustainable growth ambitions.
Dr. Pardeep added that stronger cooperation with Italy in defense manufacturing, innovation, and clean energy reflects India’s expanding strategic partnerships with leading global economies and India’s strategic ties with Europe.
Dr. Pardeep said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign policy vision is ensuring that India is no longer viewed merely as a market, but as a trusted global partner and a leading voice of the developing world.
“From energy security to advanced technology and strategic investments, these global partnerships are essential for building a strong, self-reliant, and developed India. The world today recognizes India as a decisive force shaping the future global order,” Dr. Pardeep said.
