JAMMU: On July 9, 2024, the J&K Taekwondo Association held elections for its general body at the Press Club Jammu. Ms. Anshuja Tak, the returning officer for the J&K Sports Council, and Mr. Raj Kumar, the observer from the prestigious Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI), carefully monitored the elections.
The new governing body that will head the J&K Taekwondo Association for the next four years was elected as a result of a smooth electoral process. The newly elected office-bearers are as follows:

2. Shri Nissar Hussain as Senior Vice President
3. Shri Atta Khan as Vice President(Kashmir)
4. Dr Kanav Gupta as Vice President(Jammu)
5. Shri Ramesh Chander Sharma as General Secretary
6. Shri Amit Badculia as Treasurer
7. Shri Junaid Mayor Qasba as Joint Secretary (Kashmir)
8. Shri Anuj Sharma as Joint Secretary (Jammu)

The commencement of the election proceedings was marked by an insightful speech from Mr. Vikas Gupta, the Vice President of the JFI. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of international and outstanding Taekwondo athletes. Ms. Anshuja Tak extended her heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected members, expressing optimism for their future endeavors in advancing the sport of Taekwondo.
