• Inaugurates Langar Service for Amarnathji Yatra at Panjgrain Nagrota

NAGROTA, JAMMU: Senior BJP leader and former Minister, Priya Sethi today inaugurated the Langar (community kitchen) at Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Panjgrain Nagrota for devotees, marking the commencement of Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2025. The event witnessed an overwhelming spiritual fervor and was graced by several dignitaries and saints.

The Langar has been set up to provide free meals to the pilgrims undertaking the arduous journey to the holy Amarnath shrine. The inaugural ceremony was held in the august presence of Swami Satyamitranandaji Maharaj, Secretary of Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Jammu Branch, and Swami Mrinmayanandaji Maharaj, reflecting the deep spiritual ethos associated with this sacred pilgrimage.

Prominent among those present on the occasion were Ashisbhai Patel, BJP leader from Gujarat, Brijesh Sharma, SP Rural Jammu; Shri Vinod, SDPO Nagrota; H.C. Katoch, Trustee Member, Bharat Sevashram Sangha; Thoru Ram, Ex-Sarpanch; and other distinguished personalities.

Speaking on the occasion, Priya Sethi lauded the selfless service of Bharat Sevashram Sangha in organizing the Langar and supporting lakhs of pilgrims who arrive from across the country and abroad to seek blessings of Lord Shiva. She said that such arrangements reflect the spirit of Atithi Devo Bhava and highlight India's glorious tradition of serving humanity.

“Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the guidance of the Union Home Ministry, the arrangements for the Yatra are elaborate, seamless, and spiritually enriching. The Jammu and Kashmir administration has left no stone unturned in ensuring the safety and comfort of the devotees,” she said.

Priya Sethi further appealed to the people to come forward and participate in the Yatra, which is not just a pilgrimage but a symbol of India's rich cultural and religious heritage. The event concluded with spiritual chants and blessings by the revered saints, invoking divine protection for all pilgrims embarking on the journey to the holy cave of Shri Amarnathji.
