SRINAGAR: In a significant victory to the efforts of Police in combating drug abuse, the Hon’ble Court of Additional Sessions Judge Baramulla has convicted an accused under NDPS Act.
The said accused person namely Gh Mohd Bhat son of Gh Mohi Uddin Bhat resident of Khamdanderpora Tangmarg was involved in case FIR No. 95/2023 under section 8/20 NDPS Act of Police Station Tangmarg. The accused was found guilty and sentenced to undergo imprisonment, in addition to a fine.
This conviction is a testament to the unwavering commitment of Police to eradicate drug menace and ensure a safer society. We urge the community to come forward and support us in our endeavours to combat drug abuse and related crimes.
