RAMNAGAR: Tehsildar Ramnagar Satish Kumar refutes all allegations of encroachment on state land and preparation of illegal Fards of state land, as labelled by social media news portal Media- 1 in its recent story. The self-styled reporter has also labelled baseless allegations of accepting two lakhs for NOC of building construction on state land and for issuing Fard in favour of party without giving any evidence or any other concrete proof.

As per the rule, no revenue official/officer can issue Fard of state land whereas No Objection Certificate (NOC) for construction of house in Municipal committee is issued by Executive Officer and not by Tehsildar or any other officer.  The case pertains to private land dispute among family members within the territorial limits of Municipal Committee of Ramnagar.

A partition suit is also pending, but before any outcome is reached, the parties want to seize a piece of prime land close to a road. All of the accusations made by the self-styled journalist in the report are categorically denied by Tehsildar Ramnagar. Such unreliable, illogical, unsupported and fraudulent information not only damages the revenue department's reputation but also misleads the public in addition to fostering animosity and conflict among related landowners.

This is not the first instance where this self-styled journalist of Media 1 has published a false story; there have been several complaints and reports against this reporter for doing so solely to garner attention and draw in social media followers.
