UDHAMPUR: As a part of the ongoing Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan District Administration Udhampur under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai organized an awareness programme at Panchayat Rasli Gadhren in Block Dudu-Basantgarh. Sub-Divisional Magistrate Basantgarh graced the occasion as the chief guest on the occasion.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of members of the tribal community. Various departments had set up informative stalls to generate awareness about flagship government schemes aimed at the socio-economic upliftment of the tribal population.
A special healthcare camp was also organized during the programme to deliver essential medical services at the doorstep of tribal communities, ensuring last-mile healthcare delivery. Additionally, saturation drives were carried out for Aadhaar enrolment, Ayushman Bharat cards and other critical government schemes. The programme was instrumental in disseminating information, enrolling beneficiaries and connecting the tribal populace with welfare services.
