SRINAGAR: Managing Director, Jammu and Kashmir State Industrial Development Corporation (SIDCO) and Jammu and Kashmir Small-Scale Industrial Development Corporation (SICOP), Mohammed Shahid Saleem, today visited the industrial estates at Sempora, Khanmoh and Rakh-e-Gund Aksha to review the infrastructure development projects in these industrial estates.

These three new estates are coming up in the vicinity of Srinagar and are attracting investments worth thousands of crores. The basic infrastructure like roads, electric sub stations and poles, fencing, overhead water tanks and STPs being laid out in these industrial estates was reviewed and directions were issued to fast-track all the developmental activities. The establishment of various institutions, especially hospitals, Malls, and Information Technology parks in these Industrial Estates was also reviewed.

All the concerned officers and site engineers were directed to ensure hassle-free and smooth coordination with the industrial land allottees besides resolution of their genuine demands. The Managing Director was accompanied by General Managers and Estate Officers of the Corporations.
