The Survival Fight of JK Monitor: For 16 years, JK Monitor has chronicled Jammu and Kashmir with integrity. Since 2010, I have steered its newsroom alongside our visionary Founding Chairman, Dr. Priya Ranjan (IIT Kharagpur alumnus, University of Maryland Ph.D.). His tragic demise in October 2026 left a severe financial and operational vacuum. Without urgent support, our 24/7 news portal risks permanently shutting down after November 2026, remaining only as a static digital archive. We appeal to well-wishers to extend a helping hand to keep our active newsroom alive. Support Us: WhatsApp: +91-9906103001 | Email: journalistajmerwani@gmail.com

JAMMU: Chander Parkash Ganga, MLA-Vijaypur and Arvind Gupta, MLA-Jammu West held a public darbar at BJP headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. Many deputations drawn from different sections of the society from different areas of Jammu met and apprised the senior leaders of party about their problems and grievances. People apprised the BJP leaders about unscheduled power cuts, ration supply issues, drinking water supply, and other developmental issues.

Chander Parkash Ganga and Arvind Gupta heard the grievances of the deputations patiently and assured that whatever has been brought into their notice will be taken up with the concerned authorities for appropriate action. MLAs made the written communications and pressed upon the concerned department officials for the prompt redressal of genuine demands of the people.

Chander Parkash Ganga, speaking on this occasion, said that being a people-oriented party, the BJP has provided a platform to the general public for direct interaction with the elected MLAs from the party so the woes of the people are raised at highest level and mitigated a the earliest. BJP stands committed to its approach in serving the people, he added.

Arvind Gupta, emphasizing the need for regular interactions with the public through darbar ensures the 2-way interaction of the public with the party. It makes sure that the common masses have an easy approachable platform to share their issues for their relief.
