The Survival Fight of JK Monitor: For 16 years, JK Monitor has chronicled Jammu and Kashmir with integrity. Since 2010, I have steered its newsroom alongside our visionary Founding Chairman, Dr. Priya Ranjan (IIT Kharagpur alumnus, University of Maryland Ph.D.). His tragic demise in October 2026 left a severe financial and operational vacuum. Without urgent support, our 24/7 news portal risks permanently shutting down after November 2026, remaining only as a static digital archive. We appeal to well-wishers to extend a helping hand to keep our active newsroom alive. Support Us: WhatsApp: +91-9906103001 | Email: journalistajmerwani@gmail.com

JAMMU:  Provincial President Jammu, Rattan Lal Gupta, today urged party workers not to feel disheartened by the recent Nagrota bye-election setback, emphasizing that temporary electoral losses must not weaken their commitment or morale. While interacting with the workers from Nagrota Constituency Rattan Lal Gupta  encouraged the cadre to remain steadfast in their efforts and continue engaging with people at every level.

Gupta praised the “good work” being carrying out under the Omar Abdullah–led government, reminding workers that their responsibility is to convey the government’s initiatives, achievements, and public-oriented policies to the masses with renewed energy.  He stressed that honest outreach and consistent communication remain the backbone of the party’s connection with the public.

He called upon the party’s grassroots units to intensify their reach-out campaigns, strengthen booth-level structures, and stay closely connected with citizens to understand their concerns and aspirations. Reiterating the long-standing demand of the people of the region, Rattan Lal Gupta also urged New Delhi to restore statehood to Jammu and Kashmir without further delay, stating that full statehood is essential for safeguarding democratic rights and ensuring accountable governance. Gupta expressed confidence that with unity, hard work, and dedication, the party will emerge stronger in the times ahead.
